FAQ

What Do You Wear To A Massage?

For your treatment you will dress down to your comfort level. However, our policy states that lower undergarments must be worn at all times. You will be appropriately draped throughout the treatment with sheets as well.

How Do I Know What Type Of Massage To Request?

The therapist will discuss your preferences with you and will tailor the massage to your specific needs and concerns.

Should I Talk During My Massage?

Your appointment is your time, although how you relax is up to you. If you would like to talk, we would love to get to know you, but if you would prefer to relax quietly, there is no pressure to talk with or to your therapist.

What Is I Feel Too Much Pressure?

Please SPEAK UP! Each client has different preferences. Open communication between you and the therapist is essential to meeting your treatment goals. The therapist will not be offended if you need to ask for more or less pressure.

How Long Should I Schedule My First Treatment?

The answer to this will depend on whether you are looking for a focus on a specific area only versus an overall relaxation massage. We can discuss your appointment times when you book with our knowledgeable desk staff.

I Have A Cold, Should I Come In For A Treatment?

The short answer to this is NO, for multiple reasons.

What Is The Salus Cancellation Policy?

As a courtesy, you will receive a confirmation of your reservation based on the selected communication you have chosen. Should the need arise to cancel or reschedule a reservation, a 24 hour advance notice is required. Insufficient notice to cancel a reservation will be subject to a 100% service value fee. No show reservations will be charged 100% fee of service(s) scheduled. Group events of 4 or more people will be subject to a 48 hour cancellation policy. You can update your reminder method with our front desk staff or through your online account at any time if your communication preferences change.

Online Booking Cancellation policy - Please call to cancel your appointments as you are not able to cancel online. We require a 100% deposit for all online bookings and a 24 hour cancellation notice for all services. Cancellations or no show will be charged 100% fee of service(s) scheduled.
Late Arrivals - Unfortunately late arrivals will not be able to have their service time extended. You will be charged for the full service that was scheduled and your appointment will still end at its originally scheduled time. Please be mindful that the staff member is unable to go over time in order to ensure that the next guest is not delayed.
